Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service by guiding customers through our cannabis products, ensuring they have a positive, informed, and safe purchasing experience. This role combines customer service, product education, and compliance with state regulations.

Hourly Pay

Starting at $14/hour plus tips

Key Responsibilites

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.

  • Educate customers on cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, topicals, and more.

  • Provide product recommendations tailored to customer needs and preferences.

  • Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations.

  • Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.

  • Restock shelves and displays to ensure products are well presented.

  • Stay up-to-date on new products, industry trends, and responsible consumption practices.

  • Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism and care

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older (per state law).

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

  • Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience required; cannabis industry experience is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of cannabis products and their effects (training provided).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

  • Comfortable handling cash and operating POS systems.

  • Must pass any required background checks and maintain compliance with state regulations.

Work Environment

  • Standing for extended periods of time.

  • Handling cannabis products in compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
